Court affirms Ozuigbo as PDP Candidate for November election

The court of appeal sitting in Abuja has declared valentine Ozuigbo as the valid elected governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for the  November 6, 2021 Anambra governorship election.

The three-man panel led by the president of the court of appeal, Monica Manson said the appeal filed by Valentine Ozuigbo challenging the judgment of the Awka high court, withholding him from parading himself as the PDP candidate in the forth coming election had merit and was therefore allowed.

The court therefore declared the decision of the Awka high court as null and void.

It awarded the sum of 10 million naira in favour of Ozuigbo who is now the declared PDP candidate for the November 6, 2021 governorship election in the state.
