Ibrahim Suleiman, a popular Nollywood actor, has spoken out about how a close friend cost him a role in a film.
Suleiman said on his tweet handle on Sunday, September 5, that an unidentified acquaintance convinced a film producer not to cast him in a film.
He wrote, “I discovered that someone I consider a friend essentially talked a producer out of considering me for a part.”
“I’m tweeting this because I know you’ll see it,” she says.
So that when you start crying wolf, I can quote tweet this.
And everyone should face forward.
I’m kuku totally booked until then.
“Lol no worries, all bases are covered and the person(s) the tweet is for has (s/ve) acknowledged receipt thereof,” he replied in response to comments encouraging him to fact-check the claims.
I don’t tweet these kinds of things very often, but when I do, it’s always fact-checked.”
Suleiman is now one of the most in-demand television and film actors.
‘Upnorth’ and Africa Magic’s TV series ‘Tinsel,’ where he met his wife and co-star Linda Ihuoma Ejiofor, are two of his most memorable appearances.
In the year 2020, the couple had a son.
