The House Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, on Wednesday, summoned the leadership of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN, to appear before it today to explain reasons why its members have continued to sell petroleum products above approved prices in the state.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Committee, Godwin Adiele, has asked the petroleum marketers to revert to the old price, stating that defaulting marketers will face the dictates of the law.
Recall that petroleum marketers have unilaterally hiked the price of petroleum products in the State without notice or communication to the authorities or consumers.
