The Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has said the Federal Government will appeal the judgment that awarded N20bn in damages against the Department of State Services, DSS.
Malami disclosed that efforts were already being made to commence the process of appealing the judgment.
Recall that Justice Ladiran Akintola of the Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan, ordered the Federal Government to pay Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, N20bn as damages for the invasion of his residence in Ibadan and destruction of his property.
The DSS had on July 1 raided the residence of Igboho and arrested 12 persons in the house.
