Television Series: The Crown wins at Emmy

Television about the British Royal family, The Crown, took the coveted Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.

Although the series has previously been seen as a favorite of Emmy voters, it had never been won in the top drama category.

The Crown was nominated for an eye-popping 24 awards which includes outstanding lead actor in a drama series and outstanding lead actress in a drama.
