Akwa Ibom State Governor, Emmanuel Udom has advised citizens to be wary of those plotting blackmail and violence as political tools to win the 2023 elections.
Udom gave the advice during the grand finale of the inauguration of the local government steering committees to Maintain Peace Movement held in Onna local government Area of the state.
He noted that power is only attained through divine providence and not through violence or blackmail.
The Governor maintained that peace is paramount for development, stating that no investor would come into a place tainted with violence and crises, hence the need to sustain the existing peace in the state and the country.
