Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has suspended the ongoing Continuos Voter Registration, CVR exercise in Bauchi State.
A statement issued by the State’s INEC Head of Voter Education and Publicity Adamu Gujungu, disclosed that the temporary suspension takes effect from September 21, 2021 to facilitate display of preliminary voters register.
The statement added that from September 24 – 30, 2021 a display for claims and objections to mistakes in respect of age, address, gender, and occupation or polling units will be done at its headquarters and offices across the 20 local government areas in the state.
