Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has called on Africans to make extra effort in ensuring that elections on the continent go through democratic process.
Osinbajo, gave the advice yesterday when he received the President-elect of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Nova, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Vice President urged African leaders to ensure that elections in their various countries is free, fair and credible.
On July 18, 2021, elections were held in Sao Tome to replace President Evaristo Carvalho, whose tenure expired on September 3, 2021.
