UNICEF and Anambra government Partners to improve lives in the state

The United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, has promised to collaborate with the Anambra state government to improve the standard of living in the state.

UNICEF Chief Field Officer of Enugu State, Ibrahim Conteh, who visited the state with the United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon, said the world body was satisfied with the impact made with funds provided by the international donor agencies.

Conteh, commended Governor Willie Obiano for achievements in the areas of health, security and economic growth, adding that the achievements were in tandem with the programs of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
