Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has called on the Christian leaders to be advocates of freedom of worship, justice and the rule of law in the country.
Osinbajo made this call during an event organized by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN to mark its 45th year of existence.
Osinbajo said fairness and respect for the rights of others are fundamental to peace and stability, urging Christian leaders at all levels to strive to promote those virtues despite the challenges.
The Vice President commended the works of the current and past leadership of CAN in promoting religious tolerance.
