The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD has expressed willingness to call off the ongoing industrial action on Wednesday should the government meet its conditions.
This was disclosed by the immediate past Secretary of the association and member of the National Executive Council, Jerry Isogun, during an interview with newsmen.
Isogun maintained that if the government pays the residency training fund and the arrears, the strike would be called off.
Recall that NARD, at the end of its 41st Annual General Meeting, in Bauchi State, had expressed its dissatisfaction at the Federal Government for the lingering industrial action.
