Ortoms blames state’s lean resources on humanitarian crisis

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, says the humanitarian crisis in the state has overstretched the state’s lean resources.

A statement issued by his media aide, Terver Akase, called for the support of Nigerians to cushion the effect of the humanitarian crisis in the state.

The statement noted that some of the displaced persons had stayed over five years in Internally Displaced Person camps.

It called on Nigerians to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari and other leaders in the country to enable them to provide leadership that would engender peace and unity in the country.
