FIFA said on Friday that a new “Football Tribunal” has been established to unify the organization’s numerous disciplinary and dispute-resolution systems under a “single umbrella body.”
The tribunal will eventually include three chambers, according to the international governing organization.
The “Dispute Resolution Chamber” will rule on “employment-related conflicts between players and clubs” as well as training-related financial concerns.
The “Players’ Status Chamber” will settle disputes between coaches and clubs or associations, as well as club transfer issues, and make “regulatory” judgments on foreign transfers and national-team eligibility.
