Ogun signs anti-open grazing bill into Law

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has signed the Bill to regulate animal grazing and establishment of cattle ranching into law.

Abiodun assented to the Bill on Thursday during a Security Council meeting which was held at the governor’s office, in Abeokuta the state capital.

The State House of Assembly had on July 8, 2021, passed the Bill after unanimous votes by the lawmakers.

A committee headed by the State Commissioner for Agriculture, Adeola Odedina, was set up to ensure the implementation and enforcement of the new law.
