Delta Police arrests motorcyclist over possession of arms

Delta State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old cyclist, Solomon Ebe, with 340 rounds of ammunition in the State.

A statement signed by the command’s Public Relations Officer Bright Edafe, disclosed that the suspect was arrested by the Police Patrol Team along Bomadi/Tuomo Road in the state with the ammunition concealed in a bag of garri.

The statement revealed that the suspect was arrested based on reasonable suspicion after they flagged him down, noting that investigation is ongoing.
