Cross River state Governor, Ben Ayade, has called for a better revenue allocation from the federation account to the state.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Christian Ita, sought the intervention of the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC, to enable the state consolidate on the gains recorded, particularly in the area of agro-industrialization.
The statement noted that the numerous industries and critical infrastructure put in place by his administration were not only for the benefit of the state but the entire nation as they are meant to create hundreds of thousands of jobs for the teeming youths.
