Israel accuses Iran of attempted attack on Israelis in Cyprus

Israel has accused Iran of masterminding an attempted attack against Israelis in Cyprus.

A statement issued by Israeli Prime Minister’s Spokesman, Matan Sidi, revealed that the attack was a terrorist incident directed by Iran against Israeli business people living in Cyprus.

Reacting, the embassy of Iran in the Cypriot capital Nicosia said Israel is always making such a baseless allegation against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Earlier on Monday, Cypriot police Chief, Stelios Papatheodorou stated that a person has been arrested, with a pistol and cartridges.
