Teachers mark day in Imo

To commemorate 2021 World Teachers’ Day, some teachers in Imo State have called for more support in the education sector.

In an interview with Boss Radio News, a teacher, Ikechukwu Samuel opines that teachers are not well appreciated.

Speaking further, an English Teacher, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel says teachers need support and encouragement to train the young ones.

World teacher’s Day is marked annually on October 5, and the theme of this year’s celebration is “Teachers at the heart of education recovery”.
