Ogun Governor Calls For Review Of Sharing Formular

Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has called for an upward review of the state’s revenue allocation sharing formula.

Abiodun, who was represented by his Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Okubadejo, made the call while speaking at the South-West Zonal Public Hearing on Review of Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission.

Abiodun maintained that each tier of government should be funded according to the functions they perform.

The Governor added that this will enable States carry out expenditure functions within their scope, and also improve the economic growth of the states.
