The Middle Belt Forum, MBF, has said that Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, was not responsible for the insecurity in the state and the nation at large.
A statement signed by its National President, Pogu Bitrus, stated that Governor Ortom has remained unwavering in the defense of his people.
The statement noted that the governor has been in the habit of calling out criminal elements engaged in carrying out murderous assaults on the communities.
It however urged securi¬ty agents to ward off new waves of attacks and destruction of prop¬erty in not only Benue but also the Middle Belt and the entire country.
