Senate President Task Committees To Be Critical On Proposals Submitted To The Senate

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has tasked Senate Committees to be critical and question any overrating of items in the proposals submitted by the executive Arm of Government.

Lawan gave the charge yesterday after plenary in Abuja as the Committees were due to commence budget defence of Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government from Monday.

He emphasized that resources of government must be prudently managed and judiciously implemented that would transform the lives of Nigerians.
