The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMeT, has predicted sunshine and thunderstorms from Friday to Sunday.
A weather outlook release issued by NiMet on Thursday in Abuja predicted sunny skies to prevail over the northern region today with chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Taraba state during the morning hours.
According to the weather agency, isolated thunderstorms are anticipated in Adamawa, Taraba and southern Borno later in the day.
It added that later in the day, isolated thunderstorms should be expected in parts of Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Osun, Ondo, Ogun, Edo, Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Cross River and Akwa Ibom.
