Former Imo state Governor, Emeka Ihedioha has urged the public to disregard the rumor that he is not in support of the nomination of Samuel Anyanwu, as the consensus candidate for National Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Chibuike Onyeukwu, described the information as misleading and entirely false.
The statement noted that the former governor has assured Anyanwu of his unwavering support, adding that he is not the problem of Imo PDP.
It maintained that the party remains a united family driven by a common purpose, stressing that any plan to cause disaffection will not succeed.
