Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has promised to release the sum of ₦10 million for the upgrade of the health facility at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, MOUAU in the state.
Ikpeazu made the pledge yesterday while receiving Executives of the Students Union Government, MOUAU led by its President, Chukwuma Ogochukwu, at the Governor’s Lodge, Aba.
The Governor said the money would be used to assist in improving health facility in the institution to enable the students have access to better quality healthcare services.
The SUG President, who described Ikpeazu as the most student-friendly Governor, thanked him for coming to their rescue when they cried out over the deplorable state of the Umuahia-Ikot-Ekpene Road.
