The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, has approved the dismissal of two lecturers, Abubakar Baba and Adebusoye Sunday accused of allegedly harassing their students sexually.
The Rector, Sunusi Gumau, who stated this while briefing newsmen at the end of the 98th meeting of the council on Sunday in Bauchi State
Gumau said that the decision was reached after a thorough investigation of the matter by a committee set up by the institution.
The Rector, however, maintained that the two lecturers are no longer staff of the Polytechnic and assured that their dismissal letter would be handed over to the necessary security agencies for appropriate actions.
