NASU Gives Ultimatum to FG Over Sharing Formula of N22.127bn Allowances

The Leadership of the Joint Action Committee, JAC, of the Non-teaching Staff Unions of Universities has issued a two-week ultimatum to the federal government to reverse the sharing formula of N22.127 billion approved as payment of earned allowances for universities staff.

This was disclosed in a letter jointly signed by the NASU General Secretary, Peters Adeyemi and the SSANU President, Mohammed Ibrahim in Abuja.

The letter urged the Federal Government to reverse the sharing formula immediately so as not to cause industrial dispute in the university system.
