The National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, says the compulsory COVID-19 vaccination for corps members is in line with federal government’s policy.
Director-general of NYSC, Shuaibu Ibrahim, who was represented by the state coordinator, OjugoIyowuna, made this known during the swearing-in ceremony of 2021 Batch C, Stream 1 corps members deployed to Bayelsa State.
Ibrahim urged the corps members posted to Bayelsa to continue to comply with all the COVID-19 prevention protocols.
The Director encouraged those who were yet to be vaccinated to do so as the rule could apply to corps members in places of primary assignments.
