Ogun State Government Reassures Teachers of Their Safety

Ogun State Government has restated its commitment towards ensuring the safety of Teachers as they carry out their duties in the state.

The state Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Abayomi Arigbabu, gave the assurance while meeting some leaders of the teachers’ unions over the serial attacks and assaults on teachers by the students in the state.

Arigbabu, who urged teachers to do their jobs without fear of molestation from any quarter, revealed that the state government had already held a meeting with relevant security agencies on modalities of curbing the ugly trend.

The Commissioner maintained that the state government remained unwavering in its desire to create an enabling environment for teachers to work.
