Speaker of the Imo state House of Assembly, Paul Emeziem, has refuted claims that the removal of Deputy Speaker Amara Iwuanyanwu was financially induced.
This was contained in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Collins Osuji, and made available to Boss Radio News today.
The statement enjoined the people of the state to disregard such claims, noting that he is committed to effective service delivery and loyalty to the state Governor.
It maintained that the Speaker was bound by the law to approve the demand as contained in the resolution reached and signed by 18 out of the 27 lawmakers.
