INEC Reiterates Commitment to Successful Conduct of Anambra Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has said the governorship election in Anambra state is a taste of resilience to our democracy.

This was disclosed by the supervising national commissioner voter education, Festus Okoye, at a stakeholders meeting in Akwa the state capital.

Also speaking INEC chairman Mahmood Yakubu reveals that out of the 5720 polling units in the state, 86 polling units have no voters.

Meanwhile the inspector general of police Usman Baba said 34,587 personnel have been deployed to the state.
