Eleven inmates of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Ibara Custodial Centre, Abeokuta, Ogun State, have been offered admission into the National Open University of Nigeria, NOUN.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Victor Oyeleke, on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the inmates had their matriculation on November 2, 2021 after they were admitted to study various courses such as Business Administration, Political Science, Criminology and Security Studies, Peace and Conflict Resolution and Public Administration.
It further stated that this is the third matriculation in the Custodial Centre, under the auspices of NOUN.
