The Federal Government has announced the commencement of ‘Operation Feed Yourself Initiative’ in a bid to encourage the establishment of urban farms and small home gardens.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo disclosed this during a High-Level Meeting on Nutrition, in Abuja.
Osinabjo assured that the initiative will boost food security in the Country, stressing, that the federal Government will collaborate with States to make the Programme a success.
The Vice President noted that the development would be supervised by the National Economic Council and the National Council on Nutrition.
