Former President, Goodluck Jonathan has called for a cease fire dialogue in Ethiopia.
A statement signed by his Special Assistant, Ikechukwu Eze, appealed to combatants in the conflict in Ethiopia to sheath their swords and embrace dialogue.
The statement urged the warring parties to embrace negotiations in the interest of the peace in the country and the entire continent.
It described Ethiopia, as a nation that, is strategically important to Africa, stressing that such a country should not be consumed by an internal crisis.
