Obaseki Commends Security Agencies in Edo

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has commended security agencies for ensuring peace and tackling insecurity in the state.

Governor Obaseki made the commendation after a joint security meeting with heads of various security agencies in the state.

He noted that the ‘Operation Still Water’ has helped reduce kidnapping in the state, stressing that the impact shows in the statistics.

The Governor added that a reconciliation committee will be set up in order to curb issues arising from aggrieved communities on matters concerning lands.
