The Federal Government says it has disbursed N58billion to Nigerians in the past two months under the Conditional Cash Transfer, CCT.
This was disclosed yesterday by the National Coordinator, Household Uplifting Programme – Conditional Cash Transfer, HUP-CCT, Halima Shehu during the launch of a two-day step-down training on HUP-CCT orientation and sensitization of beneficiaries in Yola, Adamawa state.
She said the program was initiated to support development objectives with the priority of improving household consumption.
