The Director-General, National Directorate of Employment, NDE, Abubakar Nuhu-Fikpo, says the federal government is committed to lifting more Nigerians out of poverty.
Nuhu-Fikpo, who was represented by the Imo state NDE Coordinator, Ngozi Ihenacho made this known yesterday at the inauguration of training on the Extended Special Public Works Programme, ESPW, in Owerri, the state capital.
Nuhu-Fikpo revealed that 540 trainees from three zones had earlier benefitted from the Basic Business Training.
The Director-General while applauding President Muhammadu Buhari for the step to assist the lower class, urged the participants to show commitment.
