Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has attributed the ranking of the state as seventh in the States’ Internally Generated Revenue Index, IGR, by the National Bureau of Statistics for the first two quarters of 2021 as a result of hard work.
A statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, disclosed that the increase in the state’s IGR was as a result of the administration’s pragmatic approach to governance.
The statement also noted that the State is determined to build its economic and make it investment hub for other State.
Recall that the NBS had recently published its 2021 half-year report on States’ IGR revealing states that topped the chart.
