Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has said that the Nigerian Diaspora Investment Summit, NDIS, is one of the surest platforms for attracting direct investment to the country.
Osinbajo who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Muspha made the observation yesterday at the 4th edition of the Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit 2021 organized by the Nigerian in the Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, held in Abuja.
He noted that NDIS was created to attract direct investment into the Nigerian economy, adding that 25 million Nigerians would be taken out of poverty by 2025.
