Imo State Government has announced a date for the launch of a new security outfit.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba disclosed this to newsmen, at the Executive Council Meeting held in Owerri, the state capital.
Emelumba stated that the security outfit will be launched on the 30th of November 2021.
The commissioner noted that the security outfit would be a combination of local vigilante organizations and a Community Policing network.
