Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku has called on the federal government to order the deployment of troops to border communities in the State.
Ishaku while reacting to the recent attacks by soldiers from Cameroon on Manga village in Takum Local Government council said the call became necessary because of the vastness of the border.
He said this is to check the activities of amazonian soldiers from the neighboring country of the republic of Cameroon who have been unleashing terror on the people.
The Governor while making the appeal affirmed that the state has one of the longest borders with the Republic of Cameroon.
