Anambra State Police Commissioner, Echeng Eworo, has ordered hotels in the state to henceforth promptly submit their guest lists daily to the nearest divisional police station in their areas.
This was contained in a statement issued yesterday by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, in Awka, the state capital.
The statement also asked proprietors of private/public hospitals in the state to promptly report anyone with bullet wounds or any related injuries in their facilities to the police.
The PPRO disclosed that the measures were part of efforts to curtail security challenges and enhance public safety and peace in the state during the Yuletide.
