The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has said the Armed Forces deserve the support of Nigerians for the sacrifices they make in tackling insecurity across the country.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by his media aide, Ezrel Tabiowo, on Monday in Abuja.
The statement noted that the Armed Forces secure and protect Nigerians against the activities of insurgents.
It, however, added that the National Assembly would support the military by ensuring that sufficient funds are appropriated to cater for Security Agencies in the 2022 budget.
