Oyo State Gaming Board says it is ready to enforce the law to ban companies that engage in unregistered promotional lotteries in the state.
The Director-General of the State Gaming Board, Olajide Boladuro, disclosed this in Ibadan, the state capital at a media briefing to herald the annual interactive stakeholders’ forum of the board.
Boladuro warned residents of the state to beware of companies and organizations who were luring them with unrealistic gift offers in the name of promotional lotteries.
The Director added that the challenge of unregistered promotional lotteries in the state had been on the rise lately due to the approaching end of the year realities.
