The Nigeria Labor Congress, NLC, has rejected the proposed hike in pump price of fuel to N340 per liter next year.
A statement signed by NLC President, Ayuba Wabba, revealed that an increase in the price of petrol will lead to hyper-inflation and a large rise in the cost of goods and services.
It, therefore, urged the Federal Government to fix the four refineries in the country and make them work.
Recall that the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari had on Tuesday said petrol will sell between N320 and N340 per liter from February next year.
