A member of the House of Representatives, Lynda Ikpeazu from Anambra State has raised the alarm on the crystal methamphetamine currently raging in the South East region of the country.
Ikpeazu raised the alarm while contributing to a motion moved by a member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency of Imo state, Henry Nwawuba on Thursday.
The lawmaker warned that the meth scourge could turn Nigeria to a robot nation within 10 years if nothing is done to battle the scourge.
Following a long debate, the House resolved that NDLEA and other security agencies should launch a ferocious raid on laboratories producing methamphetamine.
