Zamfara State government has shut down one filling station and a bakery in the state for alleged complicity in banditry.
A statement signed by the Chairman of the task force committee, Abubakar Dauran, ordered the immediate closure of the filling station in Tsafe and the bakery in Gusau local government areas of the state after arresting three suspected fuel and bread suppliers to bandits in the bush.
The statement revealed that the three suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
It, however, enjoined residents of the State to support the fight against banditry by adhering to the new order for the containment of the security challenges being faced in the state.
