Troops Foils Attempt by Terrorist

Troops of the Joint Task Force, Northeast, Operation Hadin Kai have foiled an attempt by Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists to infiltrate a Military base in Gajiram Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State, on Sunday.

A statement issued by the Director, Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu, revealed that several members of the terror groups were killed and various arms and ammunitions were recovered in the failed attack on the base.

It also disclosed that two soldiers lost their lives during the encounter.
