The management of the Adamawa State College of Education has shut down the institution indefinitely.
A notice signed by the Deputy Registrar, Yusufu Usman directed all students and workers, except management staff and security personnel, to vacate the college immediately.
The notice announcing the closure revealed that it was due to students’ unrest which led to damage and looting of government properties.
It advised all law abiding students and members of staff to stay calm and await further directives.
