Makinde Urges Journalist Not to be Sentimental in Reports

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has implored journalists not to base their stories on sentiments.

Makinde, who was represented by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Wasiu Olatunbosun, gave the advice during the opening of the 2021 annual press week organized by the State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, in Ibadan, the state capital.

The Governor, enjoined journalists to be objective, fair and balanced in their reportage, urging them to report issues that will promote national development.
