Kano Government Rejects Court Judgement Awarding N10 million to Deposed Sanusi

Kano State Government has said it will appeal the judgment by the Federal High Court declaring the banishment of the deposed Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, as unlawful and unconstitutional.

Kano State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan, disclosed this on Tuesday.

Recall that a Federal High Court in Abuja, presided by Justice Anwuli Chikere, had ordered the state government to pay Sanusi N10 million as compensation.
